Sniper: Ghost Warrior, the latest City-Interactive game on the market. First of all, this game is absolutely different from all their other games. Why? One thing is that this game uses the Chrome Engine. Compared to games like Code of Honor which uses the JupiterEX engine. The game has new skins unlike their other games that use the same weapons and skins. The graphics of the game has also improved. The characters look good, your teammates move much more realistic, and the game is really fun. With everything on maximum, it looks like as if it’s real! Compare it to their other games like Code of Honor and you’ll see why.
Now let’s move on to the gameplay. The game has many missions which is an average length for average users. What makes the game more fun is the Bullet Cam. Whenever you get a headshot from a long distance, or just a very impressive headshot, there will be a short cut scene following the bullet, until it reaches your foes’ head. They also changed the way you heal yourself. Instead of automatically regenerating your health, you have to inject syrettes. You can only carry the maximum of five, so you have to strategically think when to apply it. Whenever you are using sniper rifles, it isn’t easy as it sounds. When you look into the scope you will see two new bars on the screen. One of it shows your breathing, so don’t expect to get a clear shot if you sprinted all across the area. The other bar indicates the wind direction. So pay attention to the small red dot that indicates where the bullet will go. A new inventory is the throwing knife. With five of these babies, and the ability to pick it up again, it adds more fun especially on stealth missions. There is also a bar indicating your stealth. If the bar goes red, that means your covers blown. However though, there are some missions where there are glitches. Missions where you have teammates somehow glitch. In what way? Like for example, you died, the next time your teammates just hold their position and never advance. I figured that our and tried my best not to die and it turned out very well. Good thing your teammates work with you all throughout the whole mission but not in every mission do you get to have teammates.
Now the story line of the game is alright. Surprises are one of the main reasons that extended the campaign missions. For an overall rate, I’ll give it 8/10. The game has very good graphics, but the glitches are annoying but still, don’t forget to give it a try!
